CAPTCHA

CAPTCHA:
Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart

A CAPTCHA is a security measure designed to determine whether a user is a human or a machine. It typically involves presenting users with a challenge, such as recognizing distorted text, selecting images, or solving puzzles. A task that is hard to solve for bots but (relatively) easy for humans. CAPTCHAs help prevent automated bots from accessing websites or online services, thereby enhancing security and reducing the risk of spam, fraud, and abuse.
